Yesterday was my mom's birthday. I was in a bad mood because I could not be with her.In the morning before going to school, I called her in order to say happy birthday to her. Unfortunately, I could not reach her. When I got back from school, I tried again. Finally, she answered and I sang happy birthday for her. She was so amazed because she did not expect that could happen. Thereafter,I became happy because she was. Sometimes, it is difficult to live without my parents because I miss their affection.

I remember how much I missed my parents' affection when I went away to college. Special occasions can make things even worse. I hope you can see your parents again soon. I'm sure your mother loved your birthday call!
